Coffee Pruning and Leaf/Soil Sampling Field Day - Kona

9:00 am - 11:00 am Kona Research and Extension Center 79-7381 Mamalahoa Highway; Kealakekua, HI 96750 (Google Map "Kona Research and Extension Center". Park at the Extension Office or across the street near Aloha Theatre.) Registration is required.
RSVP to the right/below or by contacting Matt at (808)322-0164 at least 2 days before the event. We will discuss and demonstrate selective pruning methods with a focus on block stumping to control CBB and CLR. To help explain the effects of early and late pruning participants will also get to see demo trees that were pruned and stumped in Feb, Mar, Apr, and May 2022 as well as trees stumped in Nov and Dec 2022 and Jan 2023.
Coffee leaf and soil sampling will be explained and demonstrated. Attire and sun/rain protection:
